LINDSAY LOHAN

In 2007 Lindsay got her first two DUI's and three visits to rehab for drug abuse. This continued over the years with many more visits to rehab which haven't seemed to work. Lindsay is currently facing charges for a failed drug test.
Humanism-Her parents have had a bad relationship since she was three. With many fights and then a divorce. This has caused Lindsay to rebel against her parents, and to try and avoid the pain their relationship had on her she turned to drugs and alcohol to "get away." Her dad has also had problems with this and has had many encounters with the law. Setting a bad example for her daughter. She never had positive influences.
Social cultural- Lindsay has been put in front of the camera since she was 3. She has never really had her own life. She has had many pressures from the industry put in front of her. She simply could not take the pressures of being a "role-model" and being seen as perfect. She never had Independence so she found her self being dependant on drugs and alcohol.
Behaviorism- Lindsay didn't know how to deal with her emotions. Once she started doing drugs and drinking she never really got in trouble because someone always got her out of it. Or her fame got her out. she never got the proper treatment because they would always let her out early. She never got punished for doing something she obviously likes and never saw negative consequences that she couldn't get out of. She feels good while she is doing them so she is more likely to keep doing them.
Biological- The drugs she was putting into her body were very addicting. Lindsay has an addictive personality and became addicted to cocaine and alcohol easily. The chemicals in the drugs affected her brain and made her feel as she needed them.
Cognitive-Lindsay thought it was fine to abuse drugs and alcohol. Her reasoning was different than others and she does not feel that it is wrong or a big deal. She didn't feel anything bad was coming out of it all the other times that she abused.
Psychodynamic- As a child Lindsay watched her parents fight. As she grew older she found happiness in alcohol and drugs because they took the thoughts/images and sadness from her childhood away.
Lindsay Lohan became obsessed with the way she looked and obtained an eating disorder.
Biological-Lindsay's mother had problems with the way she looked and Lindsay had to listen to her while growing up which made her very self conscious of the way she looked which later cause her eating disorder.
Cognitive-Lindsay's brain was deceiving her by making her believe and see that she did not look good(like most eating disorders)Which caused her eating disorder to worsen.
Social Cultural- Lindsay was always being put on the spot and was always being watched by people. Everyone expected her to look great. Which led her to trying to make herself look perfect.
humanistic-Lindsay did not believe she was achieving the best of her ability because of the way she looked.
Behavioral-Lindsay believed her behavior was perfectly fine because she was making herself "better"
psychodynamic-Lindsay's mom always made her believe her body was not good enough as a child. Therefore as Lindsay got older she kept her mom's comments in the back of her head which later led to her eating disorder.
Lindsay had a few month relationship with DJ Samantha Miller. Lindsay always does things for her fans attention.
Social cultural- People where always watching Lindsay and she felt like nothing new was happening, so she decided to spice things up by dating Samantha.
Cognitive-Lindsay felt she needed to get attention from everyone because she didn't believe who she was was good enough. So she tried to make something new happen.
Humanistic- Lindsay felt that to be the best she could she needed people to be watching her. She needed the attention of her fans so she did whatever she thought was necessary to suck them back in.
behavioral- Lindsay felt her actions where fine because she wasn't hurting anyone, instead she was giving them something to talk about.
psychodynamic- Lindsay did not get enough attention from her parents as a child. She always got it from everyone else but the attention she really wanted was from them. So to try and get them to pay attention to her now she did something that she thought would "shock" them.
